Three Months Old!

Our little buddy is just over three months old now. We are so in love with this little guy. He is such a joy and lights up my whole day when he smiles at me. We are so glad he's part of our family now, and can't imagine life without him!

Caught in the Rain

Ashley and Hailey got caught in the major rainstorm we had last night. They ran for cover in the neighbor's garage. I think this is a super cute picture.

Kids Say the Darndest Things...

Hailey's vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds the past few months. I swear she talks as if she is a five-year-old. She can recite her "ABC's" and repeats everything she hears (which isn't always good, as many of you with young children know). I'd like to share with you a couple of things she has said lately.

The other day we were at my parents' house and Hailey was sitting up on a high stool in the kitchen while my dad was sitting at the computer. She repeatedly asked Grandpa to please help her get down from the stool. When he didn't respond, she said, "A little help here Big Guy!" I've never heard my dad laugh so hard in my life. He asked me where she had learned to say that and I have no idea. I'd never heard her say it before!

Today we were walking to the playground and Hailey looked up in the sky and said, "Look Mommy, an airplane!" I asked her if she'd like to take a ride in an airplane and she said, "Well, Grandpa says I'm a Scaredy Cat." And she continued walking. I think my dad said that to her about two months ago and she remembered!

And one more: This morning Hailey and I were sitting on the bed and Ashley was getting dressed in the bathroom to get ready for work. Well he came out of the bathroom and Hailey said, "Oh Daddy, you look beautiful!" I think it totally made his day :)

Fun in the Sun!

Hailey's friend Hannah was here visiting from New York and was able to play with her, which was a lot of fun. It was so good to see Hannah and her mommy Rachel who we have missed so much! Hope you guys had a safe trip back to NY!

Jaxton's blessing was this past weekend, and it was the first time all the grandkids were together. It was so fun to see Grandma and Grandpa with all of them! They feel so blessed to have five healthy grandkids.
